StepStone, the leading European provider of Total Talent Solutions, today announced the appointment of Industry veteran Valérie Vaillant as General Manager for StepStone Online in France.

With over seventeen years' experience in the recruitment industry, Valérie will join StepStone on 3^rd February assuming full responsibility for building StepStone's Online business in one of Europe's leading job markets. She will take a leading role in building StepStone into one of the leaders in recruitment in France.

Valérie, 38, brings to StepStone a wealth of experience from several different organisations in France.  She joins StepStone from Emploi Pro, where as general manager she specialised in recruitment advertising (web, print and job fairs).  During two years at Emploi Pro she developed media partnerships with respected publishers including GISI (publishers of l'Usine Nouvelle, LSA, L'Argus de l'Assurance) and Groupe Tests (01 Informatique).  Her background also includes periods at newspapers l'Express and les Echos, before joining Groupe Tests as Commercial and Marketing Manager for Classifieds for titles including Cadres Online and 01 Informatique.  Valérie is also President of APPEI (Association des Professionnels pour la Promotion de l'Emploi sur Internet/ Internet Recruitment Promotion Professionals' Association).
