StepStone and Haufe simplify application process

Düsseldorf, 23/03/2021

Candidates want to apply quickly and easily. This is shown by a joint study by the StepStone and the German Association of Personnel Managers (BPM), for which around 10,000 people were surveyed. To simplify the application process even further, StepStone and Haufe are now launching a strategic cooperation. With immediate effect, the StepStone solution Quick-Apply will be technically linked to Haufe's applicant management module. Coordinated interfaces will also ensure uniform and efficient e-recruiting processes. Customers of Haufe's applicant management module thus benefit from even more applicant-friendly processes and even better incoming applications.

For a better candidate experience

For candidates, the connection of StepStone Quick Apply means: They can quickly and easily apply to their employer of choice. During the application process, the entries of candidates registered with StepStone are automatically transferred to the applicant management system of Haufe customers - there is no need to re-enter data, the application is completed with just a few clicks.

Juliane Bürkle, Director of Product Talent Acquisition at Haufe, says:

"Many companies lose potential talent because the obstacles in the application process are too high. Current studies show that seven out of ten candidates end the application process if it takes longer than 15 minutes. Moreover, a large majority have started their job search on their smartphones. Thus, it is becoming increasingly important for employers to remove unnecessary hurdles. We are therefore very pleased to receive the StepStone Certified Solution Partner award."

Only companies that provide complete and structured data for job ads in Liquid Design for the publication of jobs qualify as StepStone Certified Solution Partners. In addition, the applicant management system must be connected to StepStone Quick-Apply.

Christoph Schneppe, Head of Business Solutions at StepStone, says:

"At StepStone, we want every company to find the right employees. Our goal is to quickly connect talent with suitable employers. With our Quick-Apply solution, we prevent unnecessary application dropouts and ensure that companies meet even more suitable candidates in the future. The integration of StepStone Quick-Apply is just the first step in our strategic partnership with Haufe. We will continue to cooperate closely on product enhancements in the future."
